On March 12th Crown Princess Victoria celebrated her name day at the Royal Palace in Stockholm. This year’s celebration was notably different, as the Crown Princess attended the ceremony for the first time in military uniform. This is reflecting her recent promotion to the rank of second lieutenant.
The ceremony featured an honor guard and music from the Army Music Corps. After taking care of the formalities, Crown Princess Victoria interacted with well-wishers at the palace courtyard.
Victoria’s name day celebration is a cherished tradition, offering the public an opportunity to engage with the royal family and honor the Crown Princess’s contributionss to the nation.
