Entrepreneurs and freelancers are making good use of the many co-working spaces in Stockholm. These inspiring spaces become not only their offices and meeting rooms, but also their social environments and their daily working spaces.
If you’re starting a business in Stockhom and you have a budget of 3500kr to 6000kr a month, you can aim at renting your own work-space in an office environment you share with other entrepreneurs. Your own personal office would require at least 6000kr to 12000kr to spare. But let’s be honest, most of those beginning their journey as self-employed or start-ups are not so likely to have such amounts to spare. That is why the proliferation of co-working spaces has been so self-evident. We can now find them dotting every area of Stockholm. There are the themed co-working spaces, the open ones, the serious ones, and even the musical ones. There really is a space for every newly-founded and growing company out there.
We decided to round up some of the most interesting and varied co-working spaces in central Stockholm, so that you don’t have to look further! Have a look through, maybe you will find your very own office today!
The Castle (Slottet)
The Castle wants to challenge what a workspace can be. To them, the next stage of co-working is more than just a prestigious concept filled with “high performers”. Their philosophy is based on the fact that when people truly perform, they are able to bring many aspects of themselves into their work. That’s why they strive to be a place where you can not only focus, and get access to unlimited amounts of coffee and wi-fi, but also laugh, feel like you belong, make friends and discover new things about yourself and others. The Castle’s philosophy is based on the Swedish expression -både och- (literally: both and). Both one and the other side of things should be welcomed in The Castle’s culture: introverts and extroverts, happy and sad, suits and sequins, young and old.
The Castle has a very welcoming culture and the space also serves as a framework allowing for events, workshops and meet-ups to happen in a safe and inclusive atmosphere. They have conference rooms, a gym, an art studio and a yoga room.

Some of their services are: Flexible plans from hot-desks all the way to your own private room or office. Real-time availability for all their meeting rooms. Request and manage bookings online. Easily connect with other members of the community. Use the directories to find the right skills and promote your services.

The different areas, meeting rooms and conference rooms are very stylish and there are lots of large windows overlooking central Stockholm’s busy life and letting an air of freedom in.
