This year, it is 100 years since Bergman was born, and of course you can celebrate it in the Film City - this was where Bergman made most of his films. The seventh seal of 1957, where Max von Sow's Knight challenges Death (Bengt Ekerot) at bay, is regarded as one of the masterpieces of film history.
Be sure to experience the film in the film city - the place where it was mostly recorded.
Before the show starts, Filmstadens Kultur will hand for the sixth in a row a scholarships to a film maker who has not yet been film-muted.
