Last Saturday Brighton boys Prok & Fitch treated club-goers and music-lovers at Solidaritet to an entire night of the purest and trendiest house there is. With bouncy and energy-fuelled sounds, the duo imprinted their footprint on the Stockholm dancefloor for the first time.
If you’re not so familiar with them, Ben Prok and James Fitch form¨one of the most exciting and acclaimed DJ/production duos in House music today¨, in the words of Resident Advisor online music magazine and they have already graced the decks at some of the most prestigious clubs in the world, spinning records and producing music since 2008.
Their set at Solidaritet was loaded with crowd-pleasing viby tunes with deep bass. The kind of music that doesn’t give you a break and has you dancing non stop. To have an idea of the level of fun the people were having under Prok & Fitch‘s music spell, you just had to look around and notice the groups of people at the club, friends synchronizing their dancing steps into a cool improvised choreographies, people approaching the DJ booth clapping and smiling. You knew the music was being well received by the crowds and they were just letting go.
My house is your house, there’s a charm in listening and dancing to house music housed in a space that feels so open and relaxed as Solidaritet‘s terrace. And let me tell you this, these days, there is no 100% purer house than what is coming from Ben Prok‘s & James Fitch‘s decks.
If you want to get in the loop and dance to their beat in your living room (because I promise, you will dance!) before their next visit to Stockholm: here is their Soundcloud channel. Make sure you follow their monthly podcasts and special productions!
