You must know by now that a lot of the very best pop music in the world comes out of Sweden, so we are spoiled for choice here. We did make the choice for this TOP 50 a bit easier by limiting ourselves to just one song per artist. We do love POP in it’s purest form, but you will notice we also like it when it’s spiced up with a bit of soul and R’n’B.
The list is topped by our huge fave SVEA who put out plenty of great tunes this year. Dotter dominated our playlists as well and Agnes returned with amazing disco sounds. Duvchi put out a brill album, with great featured vocalists such as the loveliest Nadia Nair. You will also find the likes of LOVA, Skott, Grant and LÉON on the list. And Maia Wright is definitely one of the fresh new artists that really made an impression on us this year!
