The playlist kicks off with YLC favorite Jasmine Kara, who has a new Christmas song out for this holiday season. Some other fresh Christmas tunes from this year’s crop include Mariette‘s Pillow, as well as Cosas Caras by Crying Day Care Choir. Not to forget Zara Larsson‘s brand-new rendition of the classic Mary, Did You Know? (from the soundtrack of The Star).
It is only fitting that our Stockholm Christmas playlist has the wonderful Cookies‘n Beans singing about being stuck in Stockholm over Christmas, and the amazing Elin Ruth putting her bluesy twist on Christmas with her original Xmas songs.
We’ve also thrown in some Christmas standards sung by Swedish artists, like Sarah Dawn Finer doing Winter Song, Sanna Nielsen singing an amazing version of Drummer Boy and Sophie Zelmani offering her personal take on O Holy Night.
