Main pop girl Olivia Lobato played the smaller stage at Gröna Lund and pulled quite a crowd – plenty of young pop girlies, but really people of all ages that enjoy her melodic ballads and smooth rhythms.
The 20-year-old pop star was born in Tyresö right outside of Stockholm, but spent a big part of her childhood in Brazil, before returning to Sweden when she was nine. She first made a name for herself doing covers of Swedish pop songs on Tik Tok. Her first original song Syrener went viral and ended up being one of the most played songs in Sweden in 2021.
She has gone on to release plenty of melancholy ballads in the vein of that success, but also more uptempo offerings, such as Trött på det, that really bring out more sides of her vocal capacity and potential as a big name on the Swedish pop scene. She has also incorporated the smooth rhythms of her cultural heritage into some songs like Krossas, as well as very fun retro soundscapes in the song En katt som jag. These were all clear favorites during the concert and got parts of the crowd dancing in unison.
