Two of the queens of the Stockholm urban scene, Cherrie and Mapei, gave the audience a full-blown musical experience at Gröna Lund. More about Cherrie here.
The Swedish-American singer Mapei is know for her powerful voices, as well as her eclectic style that blends many different genres from hip-hop and soul to electronic music, and disco to schlager. The latter she has added to her repertoire from her celebrated stint on Så Mycket Bättre.
Her first breakthrough was with Don’t Wait already in 2013, though, and that was one of the highlights of the evening, with the audience singing along.
Mapei also brought with her dancers from Femme Fatale Selection, as well as guest singers Lekaye, MXHXN and Ivory. She used her time on stage to the fullest with unbridled energy and the audience was left wanting more.
