Your Living City’s long-time favorite Jasmine Kara has a thing about basements… Her first single back in 2010 was a cover of the Etta James classic In the Basement, and it was of course part of her set when she played in a basement venue in Gamla Stan called Källarbyn.
Jasmine took the audience by storm from the start with her renditions of rhythm’n’blues classics, as well as her more recent Swedish-language songs that go in a similar vein with their sound. Jasmine’s live energy was contagious as always, and it was evident how much she enjoys being on that stage.
The concert coincided with the release of Jasmine’s latest single “Tills skiten träffar fläkten”, so make sure to check out the fun video.
Here are some of our favorite photos from the show.
