It had been ten years since The Rasmus had played a show in Stockholm (if we are not counting their visit to Sommarkrysset at Gröna Lund five years ago), so it was about time they came to town as part of the line-up for Bandit Rock Party. The free festival drew a nice crowd of all ages to Kungsträdgården.
The band has been energized with the addition of their übercool new guitar player Emppu Suhonen, and they have gained new fans through their participation in Eurovision Song Contest representing their native Finland. A new album is also in the works. The band were clearly enjoying themselves up on that stage and the audience was participating in quite a bit of sing-along to all the hit songs from earlier years, as well as the ESC entry Jezebel.
Here are our favorite pictures from the show, shot by our in-house concert photographer Nina Uddin.
