What’s On: 3-7 December

December has finally arrived. The month of merriment and joy. As much as we are excited that Christmas is now so much closer, we do not want you to spend all your time shopping for presents for other people. Get out and enjoy your time for yourself. There is still plenty to do!

 

Music Quiz

The evening’s musicians and quiz maestros are singer Sofia Pettersson and pianist Anna shore. Quiz lasts about two hours including intermission. Quiz is included in regular admission, but seats are limited so first come first served.

Champagne Night

With special treats with bubbles and bubbly cocktails.

Julgalan

The largest and most colorful Christmas show! Top artists in a lively show. Tickets vary and can include food and drink.

When:  4, 5, 6 December at 9:00 pm

Bergius Botanic Garden – Christmas Exhibition

An exhibition about the many different plants associated with Christmas at the Old Orangery, Bergius Botanic Garden. Your senses will be filled with colours, shapes and scents. Enjoy their display arranged by the gardeners.

Burlesque Night

For the first time at MELT – Ivoncita – the Latino Lolita of Burlesque! Enjoy a night of cocktails and sin.

Christmas Craft Bonanza

Enjoy a Christmas Craft fest! Workshops hosted by members, Christmas food, drink & lots of unique gift ideas! Workshops include: crochet (beginners), paper crafts, decorations, cake decoration, textiles, & more. Pre-sale tickets only. All materials are included in the price which is 150 kr.

Candy Cane Making

If you want to try a truly unique and genuine Swedish (and Christmas) handicraft you and your friends or family can make your own “Polkagris” (Candy Cane). Polkapojkarna’s professional polkagris bakers will give you and your friends a short brief and history lesson before you get to start baking. Dinner & Live Jazz

Enjoy a lovely meal accompanied by an evening of live jazz. The Glenn Miller Cafe provides a variety of live concerts of artists from all over Sweden, Europe and the World. Check the upcoming gig listings and book yourself in for a great evening of dining and entertainment.
