After two years when the festival had to be postponed, Stockholm will finally get to celebrate the return of Lollapalooza. This will be the second time the festival takes place in the city, and it’s already become Stockholm’s largest festival and with the biggest names in its lineup.
Lollapalooza Stockholm is the seventh Lollapalooza in the world and is the only one in the Nordics. The world-class international festival is in the heart of Stockholm, close to the water at beautiful Gärdet. Over 56 000 fans from all over the world attended the first Lollapalooza Stockholm.

The Killers
When Las Vegas four-piece The Killers released their timeless debut ‘Hot Fuss’ in 2004 it was apparent that this indie-rock band was bound for glory. If you’re familiar to tracks like ‘Mr. Brightside’, ‘Somebody Told Me’ and ‘All The Things That I’ve Done’, you know their fame is inevitable. Ever since, The Killers have released one accomplished record after another with their triumphant, exhilarating take on rock music and have consequently won the hearts of fans all over the world. The Killers have, despite their stratospheric success, never surrendered to cynicism and with their amazing latest album ‘Pressure Machine’ they remind us why they are one of the best and biggest rock bands of our time. Prepare yourselves, because the Killers will visit Lollapalooza Stockholm 2022.
Wolf Alice
It’s impossible to deny the magnetic pull that alt-rock London extraordinaires Wolf Alice can spellbind you with! The band’s music narrates about youth and womanhood, about nights out, best friends, bus rides home; about desire, rage, freedom, and joy – all capsuled in grunge riffs, heavy drums, powerful and visceral vocals. Their 2015 gold-selling debut album My Love Is Cool made it up to No. 2 in the UK chart, followed up by Visions Of A Life – and in 2021 the band released Blue Weekend that became the band’s first No. 1. albumin the UK. With a Grammy nomination for Best Rock Performance, two BRIT nominations, one BRIT award Group Of The Year and two NME Awards for Best Live Band.
Måneskin
The Italian rock quartet has had an amazing run of success since they got their big breakthrough after winning the Eurovision Song Contest in 2021. No Eurovision winner since ABBA has had such momentum through their win. Beside dominating TikTok after their victory and gaining traction in American rock charts through late night shows, the young and beautiful Damiano, Victoria, Ethan and Thomas have already played some truly major rock festivals around Europe, where the crowds have gone wild over their unbridled rock energy on the stage. Be certain that they will bring the rock’n’roll, and look amazing doing it.
Lorde
Popstar extraordinaire from New Zealand, Lorde had her huge international breakthrough with Royals when she was just 16 years of age, so yes, she’s still just only 25 now after being around for quite a while on the podium of pop royalty. She is known to sprinkle her pop with unconventional musical styles and she digs in deep with her introspective lyrics, and all that has won her many awards, including two Grammys and twow Brit Awards. Her latest and third studio album Solar Power has renewed her status as a force to be reckoned with. She even released a Maori version of the album, with the proceeds going to charities. We look forward to seeing Lorde shine her light at us from the Lollapalooza stage on Sunday.
Haim
The sister trio made up of Este, Danielle and Alana Haim have had their successes in the indie pop / soft rock circles over the past ten years since their debut album Days Are Gone came out. Their latest album Women in Music pt. III has been their most successful to date, gaining them even Grammy 2021 nominations including one for Album of the Year. If you are familiar with their studio sound, which builds on their vocal harmonies and pop sensibilities, their live performances tend to be more raw and rocking. You can expect a fun show, with great banter and Este’s famous bass face.
Pearl Jam
Presenting Pearl Jam feels a bit superfluous. What is there to say about the most popular and enduring American rock & roll band of our time? A band whose vast legacy is immeasurable and who’s standing as one of history’s truly, truly great bands already is solidified? A band that has endured through the ups and the downs and managed to preserve the passion, sincerity, and talent that granted them an enormous, devoted cult of followers that has stuck with them since the 90s? Maybe all there is to say is that Pearl Jam released a new album ‘Gigaton’ in 2020 and that we are extremely extremely excited to see them at Lollapalooza Stockholm 2022.
