If you’re new to the city, or have just never gotten around to visiting the cultural landmarks in Stockholm then now’s your chance! Take part in the annual Stockholm Culture Night for free.
Museums, galleries, theaters, clubs and many more invite you in for a unique and unforgettable evening…
Stockholm Culture Night gives you as a visitor the opportunity to participate in hundreds of activities for free. Opening hours are 18:00 – 24:00 on Saturday, April 21th.
Boat rides around the archipelago, exhibitions, dancing, mingling and live music are on the menu when Stockholm roles out the purple carpet. All in all, close to 85 art galleries, clubs, museums, theatres and a number of other participants extend an invitation to more than 100 events taking place in one night.
This will be a night filled with parties, culture, socializing and an opportunity learn more about the city you live in. Stockholm culture night is an initiative from The City of Stockholm’s Culture Department and the aim is to show the richness of the city’s culture.

Kulturhuset – Culture House Stockholm
Start with a visit to the Culture Night information centre at Kulturhuset, where you can ask any questions you might have regarding Culture Night.

Operan – The Royal Swedish Opera
Enjoy a free jazz concert in the opera café between 19:30 and 20:00 or just have a wander around the beautiful premises.

Boat ride
Explore the inner archipelago of Stockholm. The boats leave twice per hour. The tour takes one hour and is of course free of charge!

Bring a torch to wander through the Palace’s halls and corridors and see them in a new light.
