Miss Li’s fabulous Allsång takeover

Miss Li - Allsångsscenen är din

As you may know, Allsång på Skansen every year picks one artist who gets to do a full one-hour concert after the regular Allsång show of the evening. This year the honour was bestowed upon Miss Li.

Miss Li, or Linda Karlsson, has been one of the most popular artists in Sweden for the past couple of years, but her career spans much further back, having released her first album back in 2006.

She had her breakthrough with the wider masses in connection with her stint on Så Mycket Bättre in 2012, which inspired her to write in Swedish beside English. So in recent years she has ruled the radio-play charts with several of her Swedish-language pop bangers, like Komplicerad, Misstag or Instruktionsboken.

But her OG fans will know and love her older English-language masterpieces, like Dancing the Whole Way Home, or Oh Boy – a song she told the Skansen audience changed her life.

Miss Li’s one-hour takeover of the Skansen stage put the emphasis on the newer hits in Swedish, but spanned also the earlier eras of her illustrious career, showcasing her talent for writing catchy tunes as well as performing them with her trademark unbridled energy. She also brought on stage guest artists Eah Jé and Petter.
