As you may know, Allsång på Skansen is pretty much a sacred cultural institution in Sweden and the sing-along evenings on summer Tuesdays at Skansen always offer the absolutely best summer vibes. Our photographer Jytte Lindberg just didn’t get enough of all that good stuff last week, so she was there with her camera again this week to capture the best moments of the evening for you.
This time the hostess with the mostest, Pernilla Wahlgren, had invited artists like The Herreys, Fröken Snusk, Zoe Lobos, the Wannadies and Peter Jöback to the show.
After seeing these photos, you may feel the need to actually see the programme like at least a milllion other viewers each week, and in that case you can find it right here on SVT Play. Or if you really get in the mood for more, you should make your way to Skansen and experience it all live, you still have four opportunities this summer.
Here are our favorite photos from Allsång på Skansen programme 4 of the 2024 season.
Host Pernilla Wahlgren in front of the huge crowd. The biggest fans have taken their front-row places hours in advance to get the best view.
Comedian Per Andersson came gatecrashing to the Allsång, as TV4’s rival Gothenburg sing-along show Lotta på Liseberg, where he has been known to do the same thing numerous times, is not running this summer.
The Herreys brothers came to Sing a Song (that was in fact the name of the new tune they did).
The Eurovision legends are celebrating the 40-year jubilee of their win at ESC 1984 with Diggiloo Diggiley, and they of course did that classic song as a sing-along with the audience, because literally everybody in Sweden knows that song.
This week’s Allsång debutante was Zoe Lobos, an exceedingly cool girl with attitude, who both sings and raps, produces her own music, and takes care of her dance choreography and styling. Make sure to catch her at the Kulturfestivalen in August.
Musical superstar Peter Jöback did a rendition of The Game from his latest album, written together with Kathryn Williams and Ed Harcourt.
Peter’s choice for the sing-along song was ABBA‘s catchy classic SOS, and the audience were singing their hearts out.
The Wannadies performed Pär Wiksten‘s Så Mycket Bättre favorite Öm sommarvals, as well as their absolute pop gem You and Me Song, which was a huge international hit back in 1994.
Fröken Snusk and her latex-clad dancers ended the show in party mode with her Melodifestivalen fan favorite Unga och fria.
Artists of the evening thanking the audience for yet another wonderful sing-along experience.
