The Dreamgirls and more take the stage at Skansen

Dreamgirls at Allsång på Skansen

It was a summer Tuesday, so you know what that means: Allsång på Skansen! The classic sing-along show had another fabulous evening with great music and heartwarming togetherness.

The lineup for the week included Miss Li, Christer Sjögren, Lisa Ekdahl with Anji, Simon Superti and the cast of Dreamgirls, the musical, i.e. Janice, Laila Adele and Mary Ndiaye.

It was also time for the Allsångsscenen är din special, a one-hour full concert after the regular programme. This year the honor fell on Miss Li, and you can see our photos from that part of the evening here.

In case you have missed our previous Allsång på Skansen reports of the season, read more here:

Here are our picks of the evening’s photos by photographer extraordinaire Jytte Lindberg.

The Solliden stage at Skansen was once again filled to the brim with the live audience. The die-hard fans had to be there early to get the best spots at the barricade.

Miss Li opened the show with her hit song Verktygslådan. She also went on to play a whole one-hour show afterwards.

Dansband legend Christer Sjögren sang Blue Bayou.

Lisa Ekdahl’s classic hit Vem vet came out 20 years ago, and to celebrate the occasion, Anji has released her own fun version of it. The audience was treated to the two of them doing a fine duet version of the song.

Simon Superti performed his latest song Blod, svett och tårar.

The Dreamgirls musical is going on at China Teatern, with Janice, Laila Adele and Mary Ndiaye in the main roles. They did an impressive medley of the show tunes for the Skansen audience.

The audience once again enjoyed listening to great music and singing along to popular classics in the warm August evening with wonderful views of Stockholm.
