Shockholm’s Halloween takeover at Sergels Torg

Scandinavia’s biggest Halloween parade Shockholm celebrated its 14th year by taking over Sergels Torg in the heart of Stockholm. The event included the costume contest and favorite Shockholm characters. And for the first time after the parade, there was the Shockholm Halloween Ball Bash at Kulturhuset Studion. We bring you some of our favorite pictures of the evening right here.

Sire Shockington greeted the crowd of Halloween costume-clad people and other curious onlookers to kick off the celebrations at Sergels Torg.

Plenty of people had gathered at the square ahead of the parade, and they were busy taking pictures with participants in great costumes as well as with loved Shockholm characters, like Valkyrie here.

Captain Silly Songs and Geocreky were having it off in a battle of flaming swords.

Klowny aka Twizzle the Clown brought fun Guitar Hero vibes to the show.

The Kostume Kontest had participants in many different age groups, from the youngest ones to the 35+ category.

Shrek and Fiona took the overall win as Best in Show for their costumes.

Even the dogs obviously had to have their own Hounted Doge contest for best costume.

After the parade the fun continued at the after-party, the first ever Shockholm Halloween Ball Bash at Kulturhuset – see the pictures and read more here

And a big shoutout to the dozens of volunteers, who made this year’s Shockholm happen together with Mr. Shockholm himself, Bill Schacht.
