The inimitable Florence Welch and her Florence and the Machine headlined the Thursday of the Rosendal Garden Party, bringing an unbridled live energy, paired with plenty of charisma and devotion. At times Florence gave off angelic or saint-like vibes, especially when she got down from the stage to meet her audience more close up and personal.
The concert went from one highlight to another, and the tempo very rarely went down, as Florence moved from one side of the stage to another, jumping, twirling and dancing with that red mane of hers flowing in the air. She was clearly happy to be back on the festival stages after the pandemic, and the audience was more than happy to dance with her.
