Jennie Abrahamson ended her summer tour at Gröna Lund, and Your Living City’s resident pop nerd Nina Uddin was there with her camera.
Jennie Abrahamson‘s latest album Reverseries (her fifth) is full of well-crafted, subtle and ethereal pop, and the tour has taken Jennie around Europe before returning in style to meet the home crowd in Stockholm and Gröna Lund. She offered mostly songs from the new album, along with some old favorites in new arrangements. Beside the amazing opening tune To the Water, the highlight of the evening had to be Not in My Name, the song she wrote on the day Sweden started ID controls at the border in the end of 2015. But there were numerous other moments when Jennie gave all of us the feels with her athmospheric sounds and touching vocals.
