Dance, music, art, fashion, literature and crafts – these are just a few of the art forms you’ll be able to enjoy during the evening. Visit some of the city’s many museums at Gärdet and Djurgården; feel the wing-beats of history and see modern art in Gamla stan; enjoy beautiful architecture, performances and concerts in Östermalm and Vasastan, or feel the heart of the city beating, down in the City district and Norrmalm. In Hammarby Sjöstad you’ll find a melting pot of art and music; on Södermalm you can improve your crafting skills with exhibitions and workshops, and on Skeppsholmen and Kungsholmen you can trigger all your senses – sight, hearing and touch.
All participating venues are open from 6 pm to 12 am, and admission is free. Our best tip is to drop by Stockholm Visitor Center at Sergels Torg, where you can ask questions, grab a programme in English and find out the easiest way to get around the city. Whatever part of the city you visit, there’s something for everyone. Choose one, visit a few, or even check out all of them! On Stockholm Culture Night the city is yours!
