Laughing Stock
It’s time for Laughing Stock #2, Stockholm’s newest all English stand up comedy night at Teater Pero on Sveavägen. Laughing Stock is a new all English Stand Up comedy night at Teater Pero in Stockholm aimed at both Swedes and Expats who may not speak Swedish. There are a few clubs in Stockholm where international acts appear occasionally, but always alongside comedians performing in Swedish. This night will be all in English, reasonably priced and with a great stand up atmosphere.

First Aid Kit
This amazing Swedish folk duo is formed of Swedish sisters Johanna and Klara Söderberg. They first came to public attention in 2008 when a video of them belting out Fleet Foxes’ Tiger Mountain Peasant Song as teenagers became a YouTube phenomenon. Their status was cemented in 2012 when their country-tinged single Emmylou was voted by Rolling Stone magazine as one of the 10 best singles of the year.

Stockholm Film Festival – Tickets now on Sale
The Schedule is released and tickets are on sale. The 2014 Stockholm International Film Festival takes place on 5-16 November. During 12 days, Stockholm International Film Festival takes over the cinemas of Stockholm, screening 180 films from more than 50 countries. Beyond film screenings, we arrange film quizzes, parties, seminars, Face2Face, Work In Progress etcetera.

Stockholm Jazz Festival will take place October 10 to 19 in 2014, over thirty different locations in Stockholm county. They do not sell festival tickets. Instead, purchase separate tickets for each concert you want to see.

Lost in Translation
An improv comedy show about finding yourself in Sweden. The show focuses on the experience of living in Sweden as a foreigner. The actors portray Swedes, foreigners and our cultural differences in an entertaining way that the audience can identify with, laugh at and hopefully learn from. The audience drives the show with their suggestions.

Stockholm Blues – dancing
A brief introduction to blues dance; feeling, posture, basic steps, and finally some luck you can shine on the dance floor. We apply the partner rotation and gender-neutral teaching, i.e. you do not need to bring a partner, and you choose whether you want to lead or follow.

The Bald Prima Donna
Ionesco really hated the theater and had intended to write a scathing parody of the theater. The result was The bald prima donna, scandal when it was first set up in Paris in 1950, but success when a few years later, was put up at the small theater Theatre de la Huchette, where it has been playing ever since! The Stockholm Open: Tennis in the City
