‘A Taste of Stockholm’ is an annual outdoor food festival that has city-dwellers and tourists smacking their lips! Located centrally at Kungsträdgården, the food tents offer something to suit everyone, from a dedicated garlic restaurant to classic Swedish cuisine; from Chilean to Chinese food. Bon appétit!

Fashion Market by INVITED
It’s time for the new shopping event Fashion market. For three days designers, retailers and brands will get together in one place to offer guests to buy the previous seasons, sample collections or new items at reduced prices (up to 70%). Stockholm Marathon
Cheer on the athletes all over town as they take on the running challenge of the year! Entries from a record number of 21,726 runners representing 81 countries have been accepted. Expect delays on public transport – check out the route here and plan journeys ahead. Finishes at the classic 1912 Olympic Stadium, where enthusiastic fans can greet the runners.

The Fashion World of Jean-Paul Gaultier
The exhibition’s various sections provide a thematic approach to the world of Jean Paul Gaultier, tracing the influences, from the streets of Paris to the world of science fiction. This multimedia installation is organized along six different thematic sections that have marked the couturier’s creative development: The Odyssey of Jean Paul Gaultier; The Boudoir; Skin Deep; Punk Cancan; Urban Jungle; and Metropolis.

Skrattstock
Skrattstock is a legendary comic festival, organized by the Stockholm Comedy Club. It starts this year with an anniversary show at Gröna Lund and then Sunday at Fåfängan in Södermalm.

Ingegerdfestival in Sigtuna
Ingegerd Olofsdotter of Sigtuna came to be a powerful woman in Russian history through her marriage to Prince Yaroslav. The Ingegerd Festival 2013 celebrates the Swedish princess in her hometown and will be officially opened by Princess Christina at 12.00 at the Sigtuna Museum. Experience a full day of Ingegerd with interesting seminars, storytelling, children’s activities, and guided tours of the town of Sigtuna in both Swedish and Russian.
