April sees the return of one of the world’s greatest stand-up stars to Sweden: Russell Peters. The Canadian comedian is accustomed to selling out at arenas around the world, but he’s planning an exclusive and intimate show in Stockholm , when his “Notorious World Tour 2013” comes to the Chinese Theatre on April 28th.
The award-winning Canadian comedian Russell Peters has been a great success internationally with his warm humour. Of Indian origin and raised as a Catholic, he is known for making jokes about ethnicity and stereotypes and does so with insight and sophistication.
Russell Peters started performing in Toronto and his career catapulted in stardom in 2004 when one of his first major acts on TV went viral. Since then he has won a Gemini award, had shows in the United Arab Emirates, Australia, China, Denmark and South Africa and has been a field performer for the U.S. troops. He has also broken attendance records around the world for stand-up comedy in both Australia and England. Russell Peters’ former shows include Outsourced
and The Green Card Tour, all of which have been released on DVD and he has appeared in no less than 17 films.
