We just had to be there, when one of the most promising newcomers on the Swedish pop scene, SVEA, had her release party for her debut EP.
After releasing her first two fantastic singles last year (Don’t Mind Me and Selfish), SVEA kicked off February in style with the release of her 7-song debut EP, This is Svea. It’s a very strong set of songs brimming with perfect pop sensibilities, great melodies, thoughtful lyrics and youthful energy.
SVEA may be just 19 years old, but she has already created plenty of buzz in the Stockholm music scene. At her release party we spotted at least a dozen other pop artists, so she clearly has the backing of her peers. And we are more than glad to join in and sing her praises!
